What a beautiful place! The hotel is nestled privately down off the road and surrounded by the impressive peaks of the Atlas Mountains. It actually comprises a number of different buildings spread out around the Domaine, including the rooms which are grouped into characterful little buildings, some with their own pool and hot tub. The central area is gorgeous inside and out: the pool was bracing but refreshing as even in Feb it was warm enough to sunbathe, and the main bar/restaurant area was tastefully decorated and warmed at night by a huge log fire. Beyond that the Domaine is large enough to go for a long stroll and take in some of the breathtaking scenery.
The staff, led by the gracious owner Nabil, are very welcoming, really friendly and coped admirably with our large group descending on them. They cooked up a couple of delicious meals too. You can go horse riding (we didn't try) or it's well worth just taking a long walk.
Given how cold it was at night we could have done with more heating in the rooms but other than that it was the perfect stay. I'll definitely come back again - preferably when all the roses are in bloom!
