Lets face it, if you visit this are on a motorcycle you are going to ride this. If you don't? You will never get the full effect of the beauty of the countryside.

“Gorgeous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2013

We rode the skyway on our motorcycles the week before Thanksgiving. The weather was great and it wasn't crowded this time of year. We didn't get to finish the whole skyway because the fog set in, but we did make it to the Tennesee side before we had to turn around and go back. i definitely learned why they call it the Smokey Mountains, because that is exactly what it looks like when the fog is present. The scenery is beautiful and it is hard not to stop at every lookout. would love to do it again some day.

“A Must Do”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2013

It's so close to the Blue Boar Inn - you'd be crazy not to drive up there at least once. And go up a few miles from the BBI at night and star gaze... deep into the Milky Way!
