“So Relaxing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

We had a wonderful time at the Snowbird Mountain Lodge. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They really take care you! The room was so cozy and comfortable. The food was so delicious. No TV with No Kids and Beautiful Views made for a great couples get away. The price includes your meals, bikes, canoes or kayaks. They packed our lunch each day and had it ready in a backpack for us so we could enjoy the Joyce Kilmer memorial forest.

We've just returned from a two night stay at Snowbird Mt. Lodge. As always it was great! The room was quiet and neat. The food outstanding! The weather perfect. Will, April, Blu, the other servers pleasant and informative. Butch, the bartender is always fun to chat with and he is well informed about his wine selection. I must mention Heather, our server for the Thursday's evening meal. She was knowledgeable about the menu and efficient in her service. Above and beyond that she was funny, sassy and charming--we adored her. She as well as all the staff are such an asset to the Lodge. We hate to leave, but look forward to the next opportunity to visit.

Room Tip: We prefer a room in the main lodge although the Chestnut Lodge rooms are larger and have additional...

Beautiful mountain lodge. Food was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very remote location. Property well maintained . Will definitely recommend to friends and family. A little pricey, but was worth every penny.

We have been coming to Snowbird for ten years now, and this visit was simply excellent. This time, we brought two best friends, and they had a wonderful time as well. We definitely made new Snowbird converts of them. Their summary comment was 'they think of everything'.

Words to describe the Snowbird owner, Robert, and staff include 'friends', 'family', as that is how we are treated whenever we stay. The sleeping is sound, the meals are always inventive and enjoyable. The lodge and grounds are relaxing and easy to navigate.

There are no phones or televisions, cell service can be spotty, but there is wifi throughout, to keep in touch with the world. Though you may find, as our friends did, that the electronics rarely need charging, as they are left unused.

Room Tip: The website describes each room or cottage well. Use it to find the perfect choice.

From the moment we stepped into the snowbird till the moment we left, we were treated to excellent, friendly service, great amenities, wonderful food and a beautiful and peaceful setting. The room was comfortable and the mountain air made for a great nights sleep. Take the time to come stay here!

The food, the staff, the ambiance were all wonderful. We especially enjoyed our outing with Scott the naturalist. He made a simple walk in the woods a truly inspiring look at all of the flora of the mountains. We look forward to going back.

The Lodge was built in 1941 and the new owners took over in 1995, they have continued to upgrade every year and the lodge is very comfortable and inviting . The breakfast and dinner meals are superb and lunch is a nice picnic . The staff and the owner are warm and friendly and I have yet to meet a fellow guest that was not interesting and fun to get to know. The setting not the top of a beautiful ridge is breathtaking. It is one of our favorite places to get away and therefore I almost hate to share it.

Room Tip: Wolf cottage is quieter as are the cabins.
