“Great stay and meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

Husband and I stopped for an overnight rest on the way to the Outer Banks last weekend. Greeted and checked in quickly and efficiently. Wonderful Manager's Reception. Had dinner at the little bar/grill right there in the hotel. Again, efficient service and good food. Elevator took awhile, as there were several large parties staying there (family reunion of over 100 people, birthday parties, etc.). Pool was crowded and loud, so didn't go. Breakfast was fantastic, as usual! They could do a little better with the "gym" also (need to have a larger area with more equipment). Overall, clean and good place for an overnight stay!

Room Tip: Ask for an upper room (9th floor), away from elevators

Stayed here for for nights with my two teenage daughters after driving for two days. We were moving to the area and needed to stay somewhere to stay until our household truck arrived. As usual, ES provided spacious and comfortable accomodations, a great breakfast, good snacks and drinks inthe evenings. It was nice having two tv's and a door to close between.
The only disappointing things were the elevators were ridiculously slow -we waited fifteen minutes once! If you take the stairs you end up outside. And, to get to parking structure you can only access from secondfloor, so two elevators to get to room. The other disapointment was that the hot tub was weird. When you turn it on it gets water all over the floor around it, and the jets are npt directional - couldn't center my aching lower back over one. They sortof just swirl warm water around. We were really wanting hotel with hot tub, but only went down once because it was so weird.
Overall, nice Embassy Suites, with some goofy quirks.

Had a great time with evening reception, quiet room, comfortable bed, and a delicious full breakfast. Omelets made to order and plenty of choices. Decided to end out trip with a quick swim and whirlpool time but the water was freezing in the pool and the whirlpool was absolutely filthy. All kinds of stuff in the water, Nasty. The hotel was clean everywhere else and the atrium is beautiful.

The service I give this hotel is excellent in all areas. The omelet prepared each morning were delicious. The service was outstanding until we departed. Look forward to staying again. The location has mall, restaurants, and electronic stores with in a mile radius. Easy access to airport with shuttle which runs every hour on the hour. This is the place to stay.

Very average. Watch out for the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night. Furniture in room was run down. Room and bathroom met minnimum cleanliness standards. Breakfast buffet was OK. Nothing in particular to recommend this place.
