“Great comfortable stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

Stayed here for one night, and enjoyed it very much. Room was clean, bed was confortable, bathroom tub had jets (which was a nice surprise),staff was friendly, parking was a breeze (lots of ample space), and the location is great. There's a wonderful mall, restaurants and highway entrance near by. There is construction going on right now though. We were lucky that our room was on the opposite side so we had no issues with noise. Overall whenever we visit again, this will definitely be the hotel we book at!

Everybody working there is super friendly and helpful, like people who've known you a long time.
It's clean, seems like new, and nice lobby and cafe/ bar right there.
Parking is good and it's in a quiet area away from any traffic whatsoever.

Room Tip: It's a very quiet location and close to a good small mall with a great super market and book sto...

Reviewed this hotel in 2009 the first time and have continued to stay there multiple times through my daughters 4 yrs of college & beyond. As a Marriott Rewards member, this is my favorite stay in Raleigh. I have stayed at the Fairfield on the same street and the Crabtree Marriott, across the street, over the years, but definitely prefer staying at this location. First, it is so reasonably priced! I compare prices and this one usually comes out best. Second, Location, location! It is so much easier to get around opposed to the larger Crabtree Marriott. It is nicely situated to the back entrance to Crabtree mall, helping you to avoid so much traffic. On the other side of the hotel, you can easily hop onto the Hwy! If you are planning on spending anytime at all during your stay in Raleigh, in this area, I strongly recommend this location. There are so many dining choices right around the corner! I love the added bistro with Starbucks. Finally, safety. I usually feel very safe at Marriott hotels, but again I prefer this hotel to the other two. Not just for myself & family, but for our vehicles. I do like that this lot is more "tucked away" than the Fairfield. I was not satisfied with parking car there. You are in for a bit of a hike at the bigger hotel, which can be a little unsettling late at night and aggravating in the rain. Hotel is always clean & quiet. Spacious rooms, usually always have a frig. Front desk staff are always very professional and polite. However, I strongly recommend if you prefer to sleep after 8 am, you must put your Do Not Disturb sign on your door and ALWAYS latch your extra lock at the top of the door, as the housekeeping staff is always over eager to clean rooms, and will definitely try to come in on you if you do not jump to it as soon as they tap on the door!. I have called the desk about them coming in on me twice, so do not forget sign!

Wound up at this hotel due to a funeral in the family. Thankfully we stayed here. Close to all we needed to attend to and the room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Also, lovely cafe attached was just wonderful. My whole family filled the space for breakfast on a very cold day. They accommodated us all with great service and wonderful food. The area is lovely. I hope to return to enjoy more fully.

Room Tip: Back view not very scenic, but it sure is quiet. I'll take quiet.

Stayed here Friday and Saturday nights. Either new or newly renovated. Spacious room, jacuzzi tub. Free WiFi, free coffee, free newspaper (even the local paper, and even on Sunday). On-site "bistro," but did not eat there. Fairly convenient for getting around Raleigh (that Crabtree intersection is a nightmare by anyone's standards) or out to Durham via US 70. Room was fairly quiet for being in such a busy area, though the parking lot lights get in a little, even past the blackout curtains. Recommended.

Room Tip: Only stayed there once, ground floor, king bed with jacuzzi tub. I assume most rooms are similar. Th...

Stayed for a New Years eve concert. Can't say enough. Check in was great and even though they had a basketball team staying there it was very quiet. Lobby and rooms are up to date and taken care of. The area is very nice and lots of options for shopping and food.

Courtyard has reallly upgraded their game. Appeals to businessmen and people stopping through for the night. Starbucks in the lobby as well as a small grill. Ecclectic decor. The only thing I did not like, it was raining the next morning and it did not have an overhead to pull under.

Room Tip: Double rooms has 2 chairs for sitting as well as a desk and chair, making it more comfortable for ev...
