Went to this restaurant for a company Christmas lunch. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
There were around 30 of us, so I understand that it's difficult to host large parties, but I sat there while everyone else got their food, and mine didn't show up. Literally, everyone else's food came out, and mine wasn't there. The waitress told me she "swore she put in the order" and then came back and told me they "forgot to put it in." Seems like every other person's order made it in. I got my salad at the same time everyone else did, so SOMETHING was put in.
Speaking of the salad, it just wasn't good. I get a caesar salad at about every restaurant I go to, and this was, hands down, the worst. Barely any dressing on a dry salad. Once my food finally got there (spicy chicken and shrimp), I was very, very disappointed. The food was hot, but that's about all it had going for it. Limp chicken and limp mushrooms in a "spicy" sauce. (There was nothing spicy about this sauce.) It was also LOADED with salt. Such a salty dish, I didn't really want it, but most people were already finished with their food by the time mine got there, and I wanted to eat, so I just kind of dealt with it.
I'm a type 1 diabetic and had decided, on a fluke, not to take my insulin before the meal got there, and I'm so glad I didn't. Had I taken it, I would have probably been passed out on the floor by the time my food got there. Wouldn't have done me much good to know that "Oops. . .they forgot!" if my blood sugar had crashed and I was unconscious.
So after all this, the forgotten food, the overly salty food, the terrible salad (but mostly the forgotten food), there was nothing more than a cursory "Sorry it took so long." No offer to comp my meal, no offer for a free dessert. . .not even a free Diet Coke.
I won't be back to this restaurant, and I don't recommend it for other people either. Too high a price for the food and service you receive.
