“Best Carrot Cake Ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

My husband and I stopped by late night to enjoy a glass of wine and a big slice of cake. We had never been before but heard great things from our friends- we were not dissapointed. The cake was delicious, with slices of pinapple between the layers! It was huge, definately big enough to share. I can't wait to go back and try more of their fresh selections.

“THIS IS A GEM!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012

Friends took us to this retro restaurant recently. The first time we sat on the stools at the counter, which had its own ambience! The second time we sat at a table and enjoyed the marvelous food and service and ambience. While there an older gentlemen with a military cap came in. People can bring in old photos and they may be put up on the wall. it turns out that his was there, and we got to see how he looked many, many years ago in his uniform. It's a delightful place....servings are very generous and food delicious. They have a display case full of desserts, so we ate some and took some home of coconut layer cake! Be sure and make a reservation...this is a popular place!

“Great lunch place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012

Get there early to get your lunch seat. Swift service, good food, awesome homemade desserts. I meet colleagues for lunch there at least one day a week. It is convenient and everyone I have introduced to the place have returned.

“Coconut Cake is out of this world!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

We stumbled onto this wonderful cafe and dessertery late one evening. There were no tables available, so we got three desserts to go: coconut cake, chocolate heath bar cake and a flourless chocolate/hazelnut cake. The coconut came highly recommended -- for good reason. Even my son who doesn't like coconut loved it. Rich, creamy, moist, delectable from first bite to last. The portions are HUGE -- two or three can easily share. It actually took our family of five three days to polish off three pieces of cake. YUM!!!
