“Great walking tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2012

Oakwood is not so much an attraction but a neighborhood. We went on the christmas tour which was really good - visitied 5 houses. If there is a ghost tour that would be great!

It's amazing to look at all of the historic houses in Oakwood, and also tour the cemetery. Not to mention Burning Coal Theatre and Krispy Kreme doughnuts are right down the street-It's a cool walking afternoon!

“Great Homes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2012

Historic Oakwood is very near downtown Raleigh. The homes in this neighborhood have been very tastefully restored. The Governor's Mansion is very nearby.
