A great place to see science in habitat. Lots of small displays for kids and programs for kids. Special attractions are a must see

“So Many Great Choices!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2012

I absolutely loved that admission was FREE! For our family of six, this was a great deal! There were so many interesting things to see and do for all ages. The highlight was attending a presentation with live animals, where we had the chance to touch a snake, dove, turtle and a few others.

The only downside was that the cafe was closed for renovations. We definitely would have stayed longer if we were able to grab a bite there. However, we were there several hours and really learned so much. I highly recommend stopping by for a visit.

“It is a great museum but needs some updates”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2012

it is a great free museum that gives kids plenty to do for a short period of time (2 hours), it hosts some events that are nice, however the museums exhibits are a little dated
