My family and I recently stayed at the Amerisuite Raleigh on Wake Forest Road. It was a terrible experience. At first glance, the hotel seemed nice enough until we went to bed. The bed was like sleeping in a torture chamber. I was up half the night and when I got up in the morning I hurt everywhere. The next night I slept on the couch not great either but better than the bed. I also found ants in the bathroom. The toilet bowl needed to be reset it rocked when you stood up. The maid didn't leave washclothes, and didn't put the ironing board away. Not a good experience. I won't stay at an Amerisuite again.

As a regular here, I want to warn you off for the immediate future; they've "shampooed" the carpets throughout the property, leaving behind a strong chemical odor that can't be expunged even with a thorough airing. I woke with swollen eyes from breathing it all night and anyone with allergies should stay away. I did try three rooms before they called out the big guns to tell me they would all be the same so I needn't try any more. Had I been able to try more and find one acceptable, at least I could have submitted its number. The cleaning was performed between the holidays, according to management, and it's been a month since then, so maybe in another month. Also the forced air heat seems to exacerbate the problem.
