This was my first stay at a Hyatt let alone a Hyatt Place.
The front desk staff is incredibly friendly. Enjoyed them tremendously.
The housekeepers and other staff was NOT friendly.
The cleanliness of the room left a LOT to be desired. I could not use the drawers in the dresser because there was dust, garbage and prior items left from a previous guest.
The mirror on the bathroom door was FILTHY. A ton of fingerprints and it looked like someone had put their greasy face on the mirror.
The floor was not vaccuumed very well either. I was there for 11 nights and it left a lot to be desired with the cleanliness.
The beds are also extremely uncomfortable. The pillows are lumpty and the mattress is hard.
I was on the first floor and had to ask the front desk person for a couple of binder clips to close the curtain all the way because the outside light shone right in the window. And it was bright. As though it was daylight outside. Even with the binder clips the light wasn't all the way gone.
The fitness center was sparse but had some good cardio equpment. A bike, two treadmills, and an elliptical. No free weights which was extremely disappointing. It would be nice if the hotel offered an option for a local gym.
Breakfast had very few healthy options. Just some cottage cheese and oatmeal and some fruit. The rest was all garbage.
The location is great though. Only a few minutes from great shopping and awesome restaurants.
