“Congrats Chef Bedford”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2013

As a Relais & Chateaux Grand Chef, I wouldn't expect anything less of what we ate. Each dish continued to get better. We wanted so badly to snap photos but honored the wishes printed in the menu asking to refrain. We got a tour of the kitchen, spacious and clean. It was a wonderful meal and their sommelier (did not catch her name) but she was incredibly friendly and knowledgable. Our table was most ideal. just enough of a walk to model an outfit, we were against a wall but had full view range of our dining room area, and e tables weren't too close where i was hearing other conversations. One of their dining room managers I'm assuming (with accent) was great. he was on top of things! Our glasses never fell below 3/4, very nice and everything just flowed well. Wonderful overall experience.

“Innovative and exceptional”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013 via mobile

Thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to dine here for a special occasion on a Sunday night. With every dish we took a journey that exhilarated the taste buds and was presented with such care and pride. Rather than ramble on about the qualities and various flavors found in each dish, just take a look at the pictures. It is easy to see why Fearrington House restaurant was bestowed a AAA Five Diamond. Very well deserved indeed!

“World Class Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

This restaurant is in a beautiful countryside setting where you drive past a barn and a special breed of belted cows as you arrive. The restaurant itself is lovely, stately, and both the service and food are top rate. They use local and seasonal food a good bit, have superb combinations of textures and flavors, and are attentive but not intrusive in their service. It is also not a noisy place. This is a great place for a special occasion, as this rivals any fine restaurant in places like New York City and DC.

“Out of this World...5 Stars Well Deserved!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

The most amazing Dining experience and one which was indeed the "icing on the cake" of our wonderful North Carolina Vacation.
We arrived at FEARRINGTON in the early evening having flown in with our very good friends by Helicopter and were greeted shortly after landing on the lawn outside the Restaurant with Champagne which I suspect had been pre arranged by our friends but this gesture was only the first of many which served to impress and amaze as the evening wore on.
It was a thrill to discover that within a matter of 2 or 3 days following our visit the Restaurant had been awarded 5 Stars by the renowned FORBES TRAVEL GUIDE....one of only 32 Restaurants in the USA to have achieved this award.
The service, food and ambience is second to none in my opinion and I look very much forward to returning someday to spend a little longer in the Fearrington Village complex and to experience what the Inn and Spa have to offer !

“twist on prix fixe plan, but great quality & variety”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

Not your standard fare, but good for foodies or those who are willing to try different things (not commonly found in other restaurants). Quality & freshness is always great. Presentation is excellent. Building was apparently renovated / remodeled last year.
