“One of a Kind!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014 via mobile

We've eaten at Fabio's since he came to years ago, watched his kids grow up behind the counter, and were in the restaurant when he so proudly announced obtaining his US citizenship. The food is always plentiful, well prepared, and reasonable. The summer every other week wine tasting meals are incredible. A five course meal with 5 wines for $26.00!

“Excellent Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2014

Dropped in on Fabio's this week for breakfast, and it was really good. Had a western omelet that was excellent. Nice big cup of coffee, nice folks. Hard to beat a place like this. For some reason it was warm in the place, they had a big fan near the front door. I went to the restroom in the back and it was very warm. Hopefully that was under repair.

“Best of the best in the High Country”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2014

We have a summer home in Newland and can't wait for Summer, and to eat at Fabio's. It is by far the best place to eat in the High Country.

“A must for dining in the High Country”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014

I had to write another review after reading a negative one about Fabio's. I really don't know what this person what referring to, but Fabio's truly prepares some of the best food in the High Country of North Carolina.

We went to one of Fabio's "Wine Dinners" just last week where he pairs 6 courses with 6 wines for only $27. It not only is quite the deal but the food is spectacular! From appetizer to dessert each course was absolutely delicious! Full of flavor, creativity, portions are huge... all with wine!

We were with a group and everyone stated "the best meal!" as they sat back in their seat fully satisfied.

Check out his website for the schedule of his wine dinners because typically he is open for breakfast and lunch only. www.fabioandkids.com

“Only if you are starved”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2014

I had spaghetti, the place is supposed to be Italian. Terrible! The meatballs were gritty as if they had stone ground corn meal in them. It was cold and the cook was sitting outside smoking. Cute building, friendly waitress but the food was not good. Maybe other items are better
