“They really mean "family style"!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

Very good Italian cuisine. An entree turned out to be a large platter that can be shared easily by 2-3 people. Service was fine. A homey feel to the whole experience.

“Best Breakfast?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2012

Their sign says "Best breakfast in town". We were underwhelmed. Should have gone to McDonalds.

“Fabulous Fabio!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2012

Fabio's is THE place to go for a hearty breakfast! When we visit the area we always make at least one trip here, usually for breakfast or brunch. The menu offers standards like eggs/omelets, pancakes and more but they are cooked very well. If you want to make a change to a menu item, just ask - Fabio and his family are cheerfully accommodating. The portions are huge (I have yet to finish a meal that includes pancakes since they are huge) and the prices more than reasonable. The dining area is small, with mismatched tables, but it's clean and comfortable. Go and go hungry!

“Worth driving over for”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2011

Primarily open for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is very popular. Fabio is always there preparing the food himself. Nearly everything is freshly made. If you don't like the menu he will just make what you want and how you want it. Outstanding.

We recently went over on a Friday night. It is important that you call first 828-733-1314. It is a small Italian restaurant open nights only Friday and Saturday 6-9 PM. The food is freshly prepared. On Friday night there are several choices on the one-price menu $18.99. However, he will prepare anything from the lunch menu if you wish. Frequently Saturday night is wine-tasting with food. Best to call first and see what is happening.

There are not many restaurants like this. The food is outstanding, ample portions, reasonably priced. Fabio is engaging and always around you. When I asked him how the grouper parmesan was he said, with his Italian accent " I do not have complaint". I think not - It was superb.

If you are in the area, it is well worth the effort to drive over and spend a Friday or Saturday night there. You will not be disappointed.
