“Beautiful presentation and delicious food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2014

We stopped at the Red Drum for dinner with our two adult children. It is a very casual friendly, atmosphere. The staff was attentive and prompt. when our food came I was pleasantly surprised at the presentation. It was colorful, appealing to the eye and worthy of an upscale restaurant. All four of our meals were delicious. Two of us had the rock fish special that came with a barbeque shrimp skewer. It was a very tasty dish and I would visit the Red Drum again.

“Great Lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

We randomly came upon this place and I'm so glad we did. We had a great late lunch on a Sunday. The place was not crowded and we had great service. I had a delicious fresh salad and a perfectly cooked burger with awesome fries. Prices were reasonable and I would love to go back and try some more food! Nice vibe and the beer selection was good. I could see that this would be a very popular spot!

“Red Drum or Not”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

Four of us had dinner. Parking was extremely limited, considering the number of tables. However, we were seated immediately, while larger parties continued to wait. Several beers on tap. Menu was fairly extensive. One person order jambalaya, which had a generous portion of perfectly cooked large shrimp. Another person ordered yellow fin tuna with crab garnish. The tuna was over cooked and dry. Mashed potatoes were excellent. Two of us ordered a cup of red drum chowder and a full rack of pork ribs and split it in two, with mashed potatoes and carrots and green beans. Chowder was very disappointing, watery and no clue of red drum. Ribs were not fall-off-the-ribs type and were slightly over cooked and chewy. Ambiance was crowed and noisy. Prices were moderate but reasonable for the area. Service was friendly, but sparse; she was serving too many tables.

Accidentally pulled into parking lot. But to our surprise food and service and micro brew beer were excellent. Plan on coming back again. during my trip.

“A nice quiet night”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2014

We were at the beach with 13. This was our chance away from the little ones. Two couples went out for a little adult alone time. The meal was outstanding. All of their selections were quite tasty. Save room for dessert they are home made and delicious
