Description: Grits Grill is a decidedly southern place to have a great breakfast or lunch year round. It's open till 2 pm daily. Most of the cooking is done right behind the diner style front counter. Eggs any style, chipped beef, omelettes, hotcakes and of course grits (cooked just about any style) are breakfast specialties and served anytime. Lunch is full of specials and deli offerings. Owned locally. Staff is well known for being warm and friendly. Come have breakfast with us anytime!

Enjoyed this eatery - it offers simple food prepared well with good service - a great value. We have been several times and have always enjoyed it.

“Tried it and Won't Go Back”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2012

This restaurant was recommended by a local as having the best food. IHOP has better food. Our granddaughters sausage looked old and was cold and hard. My pancakes didn't melt butter and were smallest on the beach. Waitress looked and acted as if she would be anywhere but waiting on our table. Food was just ordinary and not anything to write home about. My husband was thinking by the name that we would have some of the best grits. Nope. Will not go again.

“Great Breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2012

Had the two egg breakfast here and it was excellent. Good value for what you get and the grits were awesome too. You want to be here before 9 a.m. because a long line up forms after that.

“Nice Breakfast-No More & No Less”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2012

I can't agree with the reviews that talk about "outstanding" food or "rye toast to die for" (whatever that is). I've had much better breakfasts, and I've had worse.

The French Toast made with Texas Toast was good, and so was an order of pancakes. An order of eggs with hash browns and toast was on par with what you get at Dennys.

Service from Mike, our server, was attentive and helpful.

“ok, not great”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2012

We enjoyed the food but there was nothing special about the food. The table was crowded for the 5 of us. Being from up north, I had a question about the grits for the waitress. She told me that she doesn't make grits at home. AT THE GRITS GRILL? Really?
