As a retail seafood mgr visiting from out of town I do not want to eat steak, but that's what the server recommended. Have eaten here many times over the past decade and have never been disappointed in any way whatsoever. I asked my server if there's anything from the ocean they can add to my meal. He suggested a side of crabmeat. Great. I expected a small ramekin of crab for the usual upcharge. The server came out with what appeared to be a bowl of cereal, but it contained a very ample amount of perfectly prepared jumbo lump with a side of hollandaise that was so light it practically floated off the table. My NY strip was so tender I could nave cut it with a butter knife. I had to share my appreciation with he chef. I asked my server if I may speak to him, which I did. I did not want to make the chef walk all the way across the room so I humbled myself and met him at the kitchen door. After I shared my simply stellar experience he gave me a hug! No doubt the BEST food on the northern Outer Banks in my opinion.
