“A neat afternoon with a view of the mountains”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2014

Another great winery in the Yadkin Valley of North Carolina! Great tasting of our selection of wines. Also had craft beers but did not try those. Bought 7 bottles and a glass of red and headed out to the pavilion in back to enjoy the scenic Smokies and a view of the vineyards. Great breeze off the mountains! Life doesn't get any better!

“Grill Fest and Live Music”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2014

Round Peak Vineyard is one of the best venues to enjoy wine and beer tasting. Most wineries you are put in a dark room and the tasting is boring. At Round Peak you are sitting on a patio at the rear of the winery facing a long range view of the mountains of North Carolina. We visited on a Saturday and were treated to free live local Music and the ability to bring our own grilling meats and using the wineries free grills to enjoy our meal. The Sunset views are Fabulous!

“Friendly and beautiful views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2013

Friendly service and beautiful views even in winter months. This is my second time there and second time is just as good as the first! Will be back again! Of course the wine (especially Flirtation) and beer were great too!

“Vineyard/Brewery Combo is Great - Don't Skip this One!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

Our favorite stop while in the Yadkin Valley was Round Peak /Skull Camp Vineyards. We arrived around noon and my wife tried the Round Peak wines and I had 4 of the Skull Camp Brews. We had our tastings on the back deck and the views were serene and beautiful. My wife really enjoyed the Nebbiolo and I favored the Steel Jan's, NZ IPA. Guess you can bet which choice we came home with.
The wife of the owner team served us and made our visit very enjoyable. My wife and I chose this locale at the last minute. I love when an experience in which you have mediocre expectations turns out to be a fantastic memory!
We were actually planning on making it back for their Grillfest event that evening 5-8pm where they have live music and encourage you to bring some meat to throw on the grill and a picnic blanket. Next time!

“Small and cozy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

For a small winery they have a lot to offer with live music and grilling, picnics, etc. The server was great and the tour very educational. We are looking forward to going back again and again.
