This is a nice clean, quite hotel. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was fresh and hot. It's close to a lot of shopping, and the staff will help you on directions. When I'm in the area I'll be staying here.

Room Tip: Always ask for the top floor rooms, that way you avoid all those little bed jumpers !!

I've stayed here a couple of times now and generally it's not so bad. The staff is friendly, check in fast, centrally located, and they take pets, BUT...
This is a sore spot with me...I cannot stand a dirty bathroom and the bathroom was grungy! They need to invest in some good old fashioned bleach and a scrub brush and stop washing the bathtubs with a washcloth...it needs a good scrubbing!!! This hotel stays packed so you would think that they could afford a steam cleaner/shampooer for the carpets...big stains and dirty. And my last pet peeve about any hotel...BUGS! There were roaches in my room and when we checked out I informed the clerk but he looked at me like I lost my mind and never even responded to what I said. So if you stay just keep your bags off of the floor so you don't take home any extra visitors.

Room Tip: The pool was great, restaurants close, Walmart across the street if you forgot anything.

Stayed here over 4th of July. Hotel was nice & quiet. Had a room on the back side. Hotel is close to downtown Mayberry & had plenty of eating choices close by. Only about 10 minutes from the Virginia border. They had a nice fireworks display for the fourth. Pilot mountain is only about 15 minutes down the road.Very nice place to stay!

Only had one room left when we arrived. It was a king with a small sofa. Check in was fast. Staff was very nice. Room was clean and roomy. Kids loved the pool. Hotel is close to many restaurants and close to downtown. They even had strawberry waffles for breakfast!

Great location just a short distance from downtown and the Mayberry experience. Plenty of parking right outside your door. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast was hot with a good variety. Lots of restaurants close by - some within walking distance. We did not have our pet with us but the hotel is pet friendly. While in town we took the mule pulled wagon ride which was fun and informative. Wineries and Blue Ridge Parkway a short drive away. We hit a weekend with an old car show which my husband really enjoyed.

Room Tip: hotel has 2 floors with outside entry

I have stayed at better and worse hotels/motels.The room was clean. The air conditioner was noisy and did't work all that great. There was a mini frig in the room but no micro wave. I didn't eat The continental breakfast. However, I did check out the selection and would consider the breakfast choices average. The staff was friendly along with the general atmosphere of the whole place.....

Room Tip: Room 205 no micro wave and the air conditioer was noisy and did not cool as good as it could/should...

We recently stayed here for 1 night. We chose Quality Inn because we were traveling with our dog and they allow pets. Pets are limited to a small number of rooms at the rear of the inn. I think this is a good idea for people with and without pets. We were able to walk our dog in an area behind the inn out of sight of most of the inn. The rooms are okay but nothing to rave about. My only complaint is that the breakfast area is too small to handle a large number of people. We ate here on a Saturday morning with a large number of people headed to the beaches of NC. There were shortages of everything, including food and utensils, and no one available to help. I would stay here again if traveling with a pet. Other than the problems at breakfast this is a nice place to stay.
