“Nice!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

The service was great.
My steak and baked potato were perfect, and my meal came with a decent sized salad. The prices were reasonable. Can't wait to go back.

“Friendly service, good food and lots of menu choices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

We visited Texas Steakhouse & Saloon walking from a nearby hotel on a Friday night. We were not overly hungry but were attracted by the $1.99 margaritas and draft beer specials. The restaurant was busy but we were promptly attended to and seated in a few minutes. Our service was excellent, margaritas tasty and fresh, and ended up ordering salads and sides that were more food that we had expected or could eat! The atmosphere was busy but not so loud to be uncomfortable. And the price was right!

“Okay meal, average ambiance”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

We went here because it was late, it was close-by, and we were staying at a nearby hotel and didn't feel like driving around. We weren't looking for a huge meal, just for a light dinner and a beer. The main dining room was deserted but there were five or six groups in the bar area. The bartender was having a bit of trouble keeping up with everyone at the bar and in the booths. They should have had another person helping. I had a salad and my friend had a burger. Our meals were fine, nothing memorable. It's hard to ruin a salad and a burger. I would not recommend the place, but I would not tell someone to stay away either. It's an average dining experience.

“Great food, service and decent value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

We were staying in the Days Inn for a night and this seemed to be the only place open locally as were without a car. Despite not really wanting a steak we opted to sit in the bar and the barman came over to take our order. He was really informative about the menu and drinks and recommended some local brews which i was happy to take him up on!
There was an offer on the food for 2 meals for $20 which included 2 sides each and platter of battered onion rings to share. When the food came it was really nice, filling and massive fluffly baked potatoes. Unfortunately we couldn't finish it all but there you go. Very impressed as expectations were not high upon entering.
