“Very good RDU airport choice...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

Immaculate property just turning 2 years old. 5 minutes to the Airport, isolated quiet setting. If you're a Marriott hound, there are seven properties under 4 miles form RDU. Shuttle service begins at 4:30am. Basic free breakfast with limited choices. Very friendly staff, well designed rooms are clean and comfortable (I had a suite). Average sized LCD TV, fridge. Airport noise was not an issue, not on a flight path. Fast internet in my 2nd floor room. Very nice staff, attentive and accommodating. No restaurants within walking distance but a free shuttle is available for the 5-15 minute ride. Very good overall choice if airport proximity is your priority…

Stayed for one night in June. Room was clean and convenient. Not much thrills, just a basic room with free internet, so I could work from the room at night. Recommend for anyone passing through the area

Pleasantly surprised after our poor quality in Knoxville. Newer, bustling and great reception bar area. Again the rooms are NOT as comfy or new as most Hamptons I stay at...and the bed not as comfortable or the sweet duvet comfort but ok.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Air conditioner was VERY VERY NOISY-turned on and off all day and night. Bathroom amenities minimal but towels much better than the Knoxville East hotel. ( quite a comedown though after the Umstead with thick fluffy and ample towels.) Breakfast ok...but not many choices for healthy choices..

Room Tip: Room 326 has the rattling air conditioner. Nice view ..and of course the planes were taking off earl...

Overall a good hotel for a 'Night Stop" in beautiful countryside. Basic, clean and pleasant staff make for a good stopover.

Room Tip: Ignore the map showing local 'walkable' restaurants - they don't exist. Denny's, is...

Ok, but room had strong musty smell. Bathroom sink facet did not work well for hot water. Know I could have asked for different room, but family had settled in and just too tired to worry about after a long day. Also only staying 1 night.

We stayed at this property by default of not having much else available, and we LOVED it! The staff was very hotel, the property was clean, and we felt very safe. The early morning staff even helped pull some breakfast for us, even though we were up earlier than the breakfast started. I'd highly recommend it!

The hotel staff is very accommodating and personable from front counter help, maintenance down to the housekeepers.. Everyone was polite and very helpful with any questions I may have had. The ONLY downfall was .... they do not provide a shuttle for guest to stores, restaurants etc., BUT on the bright side, they do have shuttles to and from the airport...

Room Tip: The suites are AWESOME... definitely worth the upgrade...
