Our daughter had selected this Hampton Inn for wedding guests and it was a great choice. Very upscale atmosphere at reasonable price. Staff could not be more accommodating. Very responsive whether housekeeping or sales (David and Gloria). Rooms very nicely decorated and practical. Rooms very clean and exceptionally comfortable beds , we wanted to take one home. Excellent breakfast included, offered variety for adults and children. We had rehearsal dinner catered at hotel and their caterer was excellent. A great selection of Carolina BBQ for all. Everyone was just helpful. Front desk offered suggestions for restaurants, things to do, directions, transportation to wedding venue. Definitely, contributed to a great destination, Morning Glory Farms, Wedding Weekend.

Customer satisfaction was at 0%. The hotel understands "PAYMENT" and not service. The bathroom shower had a past guest hairs in it. The shower had no pressure and the smoke detector battery kept going off.

Stayed here while in town for the Queens Cup Steeplechase. I had a very clean and comfortable room. Decent breakfast the next morning as well. No complaints, just a good basic room. That was all I needed so happy with this hotel.

They first could not get me the credit card authorization form I needed to pay for my employees rooms. Then, when my employees get there, someone had cancel the rooms, and finally, to add insult to injury, they charged me twice for the same two rooms.

Your hotel was close to everything we needed. The staff was courteous and friendly and the rooms were comfy. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It was great to have breakfast provided and not just donuts and coffee but real breakfast.

We were in town for a tournament with our kids and stayed here for 2 nights. We checked in very late and the young man at the counter Friday night (Saturday morning, really) was courteous and very helpful to us, including securing a roll-away bed for our youngest.

The lobby was nice enough and everything looked fine. The elevator had some trash in it. The hallway leading to the ice/vending machine had trash in it. Probably just a result of a busy Friday night. When I got up at 6:00 AM all of it was gone, so I am guessing that nice young man at the counter or an early housekeeper made rounds and cleaned it all up.

The room was very clean EXCEPT for one spot: behind the bathroom door. It appears the housekeeper cleaned the bathroom well but didn't look behind the door, which left a few small hairs behind it. Ewww. But, the rest of the room, again, was very clean.

Breakfast was your run of the mill efficiency chain breakfast. Powdered eggs and thawed biscuits and gravy one morning. Factory made cheese omelets and potatoes the next. There were bananas and apples, cereals, bagles, pastries, etc, as well. Nothing fancy, but not terrible. Same as any other mid-level chain.

The air in the room worked OK. It was a little warm. In the last 8-weeks I have stayed at Holiday Inn Express, Courtyard by Marriott, Hilton Garden Inn, Fairfield Suites, for other tournaments and none of them seemed to have great working air units in the rooms.

This hotel is not near a highway, which is a refreshing change of pace. It was fairly quiet. The only weird noise was from the room above us flushing the toilet and hearing the water shoot down the pipes. That seemed unusual.

There's plenty to do and shopping and restaurants all up and down the main road in each direction.

If I am in the area again I would certainly consider staying here again. It's not a bad place at all.

Staff was great, room was clean, meeting rooms were kept stocked while we had our meetings. As usual Hampton was as I expected, when I am in the area I will be staying there again. It is also in the central of a lot of things to do.
