Our hotel staff recommended this restaurant during a recent stop-over in Marion. It was the ONLY place open after dark in downtown Marion on a Friday evening! We arrived around 5:30pm and were the first guests for the evening. There were 2 dinning rooms, and we wondered if the restaurant ever saw much action? We were promptly seated and engaged the co-owner in delightful conversation. We learned that the restaurant was less than a year old, and that the owners had learned their culinary skills in the "Low Country" of South Carolina! We ordered the Shrimp n' Grits and the Fried Seafood Platter along with a side of Seafood Bisque. Our food was excellent and the servings were plentiful and the bisque was the Best this side of Bluffton! If I had to make a suggestion to the chef, the grits were "a bit off" from the Gullah recipe.
