The hotel felt pretty average, upon entry. The room, however, was a bit different, which was nice.
There was a window seat/kids' bunk built over the a/c unit, which was fun to sit in and look outside.
The lighting was average-good, the furnishings were nice, and the wall of mirrors behind the bed made the room feel much larger and lighter than it otherwise would have felt.
It was clean enough, and the employees were friendly and professional.
I'd stay here again.

1 night stay. Needed a hotel that would accept dogs. When a hotel accepts dogs and has rooms that allow smoking, they are rarely as clean as I like. However, I do overlook that on the rare occasion when we take our dog. If we had not had our dog with us, we would not have stayed here. Older property that is in desparate need of cleaning and updating.

We had two rooms booked. Our family stayed there on Sat. night, an d we really enjoyed the hotel. We had a great time to just get away with our son and his family and we loved the rooms. They were so clean and comfortable. Nice safe area and has plenty of tv stations available.

The room are not made for 5 people though they will let you book for five. The 5th sleeping space is a window sill meant for small people. They will tell you this when you check in, not before. AC unit could not be used as it was full of mold. Sheets had hair on them.I booked it based on good reviews but was very disappointed. They will jump all over a bad review. Their time would be better spent cleaning the place.

This hotel is a super-safe bet in a town with many private hotels. If you're looking for a name-brand hotel that's clean, friendly & cozy, this is the place. Our queen suite had a fridge & microwave, couch & little sink area that was separate from the bed area. There was a window seat as well. The breakfast was very good & the staff friendly and very helpful. I'll stay here again.

Room Tip: I had a first floor room so that I could see my bike from the window.

Our family enjoyed our pool & hot tub time and the breakfast was a complete Continental with cereals, fresh pastries, fruit and Belgian waffle maker. The location in Maggie Valley is good for summer or winter activities.

Room Tip: The main hotels are all nearby, so price became the determining factor. Location was good.
