“Adequate for the price.”

I will return if the price is "right." The facility is on par with other economy hotels.

The staff quickly and courteously addressed a problem with one of the lamps in the room.

This is my our first trip to Maggie Valley as a couple and we were not disappointed. The hotel appears average from the exterior but as soon as we checked into our creekside room; any worries we had were swept away by the cool mountain breeze. Our second floor balcony overlooked a mountain stream and the privacy it offered made for a wonderful weekend.

The hotel does offer wi-fi and free breakfast whick these days seems to be the standard. The breakfast itself wasnt anything to write home about, yet I wasnt disappointed either. They also have an indoor pool that is open year-round along with a very small yet affective jaccuzzi.

The staff was nice and courteous. And all except for one, Lucie, was helpful. My husband and I had slept late and had just missed breakfast. When I asked what time breakfast normally closed, I was greated by a young girl with a bad attitude. Instead of informing me of the breakfast hours she simply stated that the hours were posted on the breakfast doors. When I asked if my husband and I could have some plates and some silverware, she responded by letting out a deep sigh, rolling her eyes, and storming off. After handing me plates and silverware, she instantly sat back down, propped her feet up, and intentionally ignored my presence as she began to read.

Overall this hotel is in a fantastic and beautiful location. Its proximity to Harrahs Casino and Lake Junaluska make it an ideal place to visit. The hotel is clean and reasonably priced. Even though there is one bad apple in almost every group. We will not let one person deter us from returning to such a wonderful place!

4 of us "senior" girls were delighted with this stay. Staff was very friendly and looked out for us from the time we arrived until we left. They gave us weather advisories, tips about where to eat and what road conditions were like to go to Cherokee for a few hours. We look forward to coming back and doing this several times a year. Accessibility was a plus and continental breakfast was quite nice. I doubt we will ever use the swimming pool but if we should travel with grandchildren it's nice to have one indoors. Very comfortable beds were much appreciated. Room heating/cooling unit was a bit confusing for us to operate, though. We would suggest printed instructions be posted for those who are digitally challenged. Thank you, Ramada Limited. We (and the property) may be a bit old but what a comfortable, clean, pleasant stay we had with you.

The hotel looked tacky from the outside but the inside was very pleasant with good furnishings and paintings. Our room was just as good without any foreign or cigarette smell to it. The beds were comfortable and pillows were good. Plus, the lady at the front desk was very nice.

It was winter, so we had the jacuzzi and pool to ourselves. The jacuzzi was small and could have been bigger but relaxing and warm. The indoor pool was warm and balanced out the cold weather out perfectly. Both had nice clean and clear water. If you have your swimsuits dive in and enjoy.

The breakfast was a big flop for us. We were disappointed at the waffles which was the main attraction. We had to wait behind a family of five and one of the makers were broken. After we finally got our waffles, they tasted like the batter had spoil. We took one bite and lost our appetites and left. Maybe we were just unlucky cause everyone else was eating it happily.

In the end, this was a pleasant stay. This is a nice little hotel that had everything we needed, service, comfort, jacuzzi, and location. It's a good place to stay. Just be careful of the breakfast.

Room Tip: You will definitely want a creekside room.
