I find it odd that 2 restaurants with the same name in the same town can be so different. We usually eat at the one on main street and have always enjoyed the food and service. But this one, was disappointing at best.
The salad bar was less than fresh, the onions and cucumbers were in need of throwing out and when we asked for fresh lettuce, we were told that the owner said no. The pizza on the buffett looked like it had been out a while and when we asked if there would be fresh pizza coming out soon, we were told, again...the owner said no. So we ordered off the menu and got sandwiches, which were good.
However, the most upseting part of our visit was the owners behavior. There were two men, foreigner's, who constantly yelled and belittled the waitresses. Our waitress, a fairly young girl, looked as if she were about to cry over being yelled when she asked about the salad and pizza. She apologized repeatedly for what we heard and we assured her it wasnt her fault. We observed these men, cursing and yelling at 5 waitresses continually during our visit....and we counted 11 people in the restaurant eating...including us. I am not sure how busy they are at other times, but we were there during the lunch hour.
From now on, we will go only to the Main Street Christo's where we have always been treated to good food, great, smiling service and a relaxed atmosphere.
