“Beautiful Design and Challenging”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

This course is beautifully laid out but challenging because of immediate trouble if you stray from the fairways. If you cannot hit it straight, bring extra golf balls. Greens are in good shape.

“Awesome Course”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

Great course, and was in fantastic shape. I really enjoy this layout and the greens are always challenging, but fair. I was debating trying another course in the area, but am happy I chose to return to Cape Fear Nat'l...always in great shape and a really nice golf course.

“Wonderful find - golf truely carolina style”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

Excellent golf course. Challanging for the good golfer and the bad. Many tee boxes allowed for any player level to enjoy themselves. Played with my wife and found it very woman friendly.(Only the 18th hole was a challange for her). Lots of carry and water for the long hitters. Make sure to take a scope or buy the yardage book. No indication on the tees via pictures or signage as to where to hit the ball or trouble etc.
Will definetly return. The bar area and resturant were small but very good. pro shop nice. Lots of practice areas.
New course opened in 2010. Just outside of Wilmington -- worth the drive 30 minutes from Wrightsville beach.
