My husband and I found Linne Ardan because of favorable reviews like the one I'm writing right now! And it lived right up to its reputation. The owners, Linda and Aaron, are two of the nicest most gracious people you'll ever meet. They greeted us as soon as we drove up with their friendly dog, Kate, and the warmth continued throughout our stay. Aaron made sure we were comfortable, gave us ample advice on the surrounding area regarding restaurants, hiking, and shopping, and sat with us engaging in very interesting conversation on numerous occasions. We truly felt like a part of their family. The breakfasts we were served were some of the best dishes we have ever eaten! Any other place we have stayed in the past pales in comparison to this wonderful and beautiful home high on the hill in a lovely scenic area. The price we paid per night simply wasn't enough for all the amenities that were ours...the room we stayed in was lovely and spacious, the bed comfortable. The log cabin itself is breathtakingly pretty and impeccably decorated. We were offered wine & coffee each evening, and assisted in the parlor in watching DVDs on a comfy leather couch by the wood burning stove. There are plenty of historic, humorous, or educational books to choose from right outside your bedroom, or plenty of soothing music to play right there in your room. Their own line of lotions & shampoos made with ollive oil were available for us, as was a hair dryer (I'd left mine at home). I urge you to go to Linne Ardan - you won't be sorry. These hosts really know how to run a fabulous B&B - and it's all genuine, not put-on.
