“Beautiful Scenery but great need for renovation”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2012

This old Inn has great character- wide side porches and a peaceful, serene lake located just outside the front door. But if you are looking for anything remotely modern, this is not your kind of place. A Holiday Inn it isn't and that will appeal to many. The Inn is in great need of repair- the HVAC system is troubled, the carpets need replacing, the elevators are 1960's and hot and cold water are not consistent. What it lacks in modern amenities is somewhat compensated by the surrounding scenery and easy access to a 2.5 walking trail around the lake. It just depends on what you want in your stay.

Room Tip: All rooms are fairly quiet except for the clanging of the HVAC System

“A wonderful place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2008

For the joy of Christian fellowship, serenity of surroundings, quality of the meals, comfort of the accomodations, one cannot find a better location than the Lambuth Inn. It has been serving the temporary resident for many years. Let us hope it continues to serve for many, many more. If I were able, I would again make an annual pilgrimage to Lake Junaluska for the preaching and the great singing, and I would prefer to stay at Lambuth Inn.
