This old Inn has great character- wide side porches and a peaceful, serene lake located just outside the front door. But if you are looking for anything remotely modern, this is not your kind of place. A Holiday Inn it isn't and that will appeal to many. The Inn is in great need of repair- the HVAC system is troubled, the carpets need replacing, the elevators are 1960's and hot and cold water are not consistent. What it lacks in modern amenities is somewhat compensated by the surrounding scenery and easy access to a 2.5 walking trail around the lake. It just depends on what you want in your stay.
