This is obviously an old motel, as there is a weird steep ramp put in to accommodate wheelchairs, etc. It was difficult to climb (we don't have wheelchairs), so we opted for the steps most of the time. The bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean. The pool was a good temperature, and not crowded. An easy walk over the dunes on a wooden sidewalk, to the ocean. Nice guy, Zach, renting umbrellas & chairs, friendly lifeguards at the base of the dunes (Jordan, Matt). The ocean temp was a little too cool, although there were people in there. We spent 2 days on the beach all day, with a breeze to keep us cool. The housekeeping staff was efficient and always spoke. The little balcony was nice to sit on and relax. It took a while for us to get the hang of the air conditioner, but found that if we set it to "60", the room was comfortable (felt like 70 degrees). The free breakfast was good and very filling. My husband loved the Bacon so much , that on the last day, he ate 12 slices & asked the dining room manager which brand they use !!!!! (It's SYSCO). I found a lost gem stone in the elevator, so if anyone is reading this who lost it, please email me & describe it ... A fun vacation !!!!!
