“Excellent Facility and Location”

We stayed here last fall for our season finale and liked it so much we started this year here as well. There's not many trees, but the sites are large with ample space between and easily maneuverable. The pads are gravel/sand, but plenty of grass. The buildings and hook ups were in great shape. There's a playground but no pool and it is very quiet.

We stayed here in our motorhome, while our daughter rented a house on the beach. The park is on the sound side with launch ramp and dock. Although a private park there is room between sites so you don't feel crowded. It is right behind the Wright Brothers memorial near many restaurants and shops. While you are here don't miss a trip to Duck Donuts!

We stayed here for our family wedding week. Our kids stayed in one of the palatial homes in Corolla, but we chose to bring our RV and enjoy our space when our busy days were done. Lot sizes are excellent. Karen, the manager was very pleasant and provided for after hours check in. Campground is very neat. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet considering area is very busy.

Room Tip: No pool is available, but views of channel are beautiful.

We loved our long weekend here at OBX Campground! We arrived after dark, and were happy to see that the lot numbers were lit. Every night we were so pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was, very peaceful.

The bathhouses are as others have stated, exceptionally clean! We appreciated the large showers, and the tables by the sinks. It made it very easy for hair styling and make up. The lighting was a bit dim in the bathrooms, but it was still quite nice.

Bruce, one of the managers, was very friendly and helpful, as was the lady who worked there. (Sorry, I can't remember her name!)

The setting is beautiful, and very accessible to the main road. We will definitely stay here again when we camp in the Outer Banks!

Excellent quiet campground! Everything is clean , very family oriented. Bath house have large showers and are fiberglass. There is a great dock to launch a kayack from and go out in the sound. The owners are great . Pets are welcome. We have stayed there twice and cant wait to go back.

Staying here two weeks. So far campground is very quiet and clean. The sites are large so you are not crowded. The electric seems good and the water is okay. The view of the creek is beautiful. You can see the beacon on the Wright Brothers Monument at night.

We stayed at the OBX Campground in mid-November, 2013. This campground, hidden at the end of a residential street was a real find. It is small, but there is nice spacing between sites and SO CLEAN. The bath houses were the largest and nicest I have yet to see. The 6 shower stalls were fiberglass stalls with seats, including two that were handicapped accessible. Not the concrete floor with rubber mat that you usually have. There were multiple, large toilet stalls, along with 2 handicapped accessible ones. The men's and women's facilities were separate buildings, which I liked. The campground is adjacent to the sound with a pier and picnic area adjacent to the water. The Wright Memorial is just north of the campground and other sites are very close and convenient. We would stay there again in a heartbeat and I would recommend it to any camper.
