“Consistently good place to take the family.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013 via mobile

We visited Henry's again this year for the 6th year in a row. The NC BBQ is still some of the best on the beach and we love the she-crab soup. The hush puppies are also good and the fresh baked bread is always a hit with our kids. This is not a fancy place and the service was a little bumpy at times but we will definitely go back again on our next OBX visit.

“Good Food, Good Pirce”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

We had dinner here on evening. The service was good with a friendly staff and the food was tasty as well. The place was also clean. The prices were average for an entree and two sides. A lot of people were getting King Crab Legs which must be a specialty at Henry's. I settled for the Stuffed Flounder which was fresh and tasty. I can't comment on my granddaughter's food, she always eats Chicken Fingers and they tasted pretty good to her. The cheesecake was very good.

There is a little musty smell when you walk in the door but I didn't notice it in the dining room. So don't let the musty smell turn you away.

“Good dependable comfort food at a great price!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013 via mobile

We eat here every year & it's always good. We love coming here, it's comfortable & we know what to expect.
They usually have an omelet special offer & I like the TV on Fox News.

“Good breakfast and service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

We stopped for a quick breakfast before the crowds arrived on turnover day. The menu was large and there was a lot of variety for breakfast. Both of us had a large serving and the food was good. I hate when my egg is cooked with bacon and there was no "left over on the grill" taste. The service was outstanding. The only problem we saw, was the servers were taking turns with tables and didn't have a section. There were times when we felt there was some confusion and as a result, our table and the table next to us felt the servers were wonderful, but there was too much confusion with who had what table.

We would stop agan and hope the restaurant changes to areas the servers have and not take turns with tables. The friendly servers could then concentrate on the customer and not be going to tables that aren't theirs to cover.

“Nice place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013 via mobile

Cool restaurant! The interior has the locally owned feel, as most places on the island are typically family owned. Well worth the ten minute wait on a weekend. Popcorn shrimp was good.. Breakfast menu looked to have a nice selection. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely go back to Henry's again in the future.
