Stayed two nights for DNC. Arrived back to hotel from convention at 3 am 2nd night Camera and iPod left in car out of sight. Car door broken into with screwdriver. There is only one way in and out of this hotel at the front where there is a camera and it's not in an area that is walkable. First the manager Terry told me she didn't know how to view the footage and that she would have to call the owner. Called the police to report incident and when they arrived she told them the outside camera didn't work. After numerous attempts to have the manager call the owner or give me his phone number, she stated she didn't have his number that it was on speed dial. Owner never responded, police report was filed. Both the manager and maintenance man live on site, yet they failed at being able to contact the owner. The value of my items was over $2k. Their signage states do not leave personal items in sight, right? I question the integrity of this establishment and for safety reasons would not recommend staying here. The illusion of the cameras outside that are not working properly after your car is broken into when the parking lot is full and the only car that was vandalized and items stolen was mine, leaves me to believe it was an inside job and I was being targeted the entire time. Luckily I do have insurance for my property, but my photos from the last two years on my sim cards that were in my camera bag and my camera bag, which I brought back from Tunisia Africa are irreplaceable. If you do decide to stay at this establishment keep both eyes wide open because it's unsafe.

GinaMariaDC My sincere apologies for the issues you describe experiencing during your recent visit with us. We hate to hear these things. I am especially sorry that we were not able to satisfy your concerns prior to your leaving. I realize we cannot change the experience but we certainly hope you will allow us another opportunity to exceed your expectations in the future. Again, thank you for sharing your experience.
