Fabulous food and drink! Charming turn of century tavern serving up cold craft beer and delicous dinners.

“Worth the Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

Great food! We stayed at the Iron Horse Hotel, we ate at their Restaurant multiple times and were never disappointed. Great service and the menu has something for everyone. We could tell that they really care about what they are preparing for their guests. Eating here made our trip to Hot Springs, NC that much better!

“Some good points, some not so much”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

Friendly service, nice atmosphere. Live music on Friday night, but we left before he got started. I had the fried catfish, very tasty. My husband has Celiac Disease and must eat gluten free. We stopped in the day before to see if they could accommodate him and talked to a waiter who was very familiar with our needs. Sadly, although he was there the night we visited, we got a different waiter who was clearly not at all acquainted with gluten free. The steak...the only thing he felt comfortable ordering, was not very good. I'm sure one of the several other fish dishes would have been a better choice, but without confidence in the waiter's ability to convey his special needs, we were afraid for him to order anything else.

“Diner like atmosphere but upscale.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013 via mobile

Menu priced right. Food good. Lunch crowded so food took a while but worth wait. Wife shopped next store while waiting for food. Service very friendly. Not many other places to eat there but this was recommended by locals. Must go if eating in hot springs.

“plenty of choices, food consistently good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

You do not have to spend a lot to have a good dinner here. There is locally-sourced food and a nice variety of beer. Excellent collard greens and macaroni and cheese, and also good fried green tomatoes -- There are some nice southern sides and dishes, but you won't be limited to that, and there are choices that are healthier than some of our characteristic southern fare. It is a good blend of cuisine, Live music too.
