“Perfect!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

We stumbled upon this place at night, when we were tired, and sort of took the first place we came to! Now it will be the first place we go to in the Cayo District. We stayed three nights, my husband, myself, daughter and her 2 little girls. We got the triple room, 4 beds! and bath and desk, wi-fi, and great service. The restaurant was cool, food and service excellent, Julian the owner always stopped by to chat each day! The girls swam in the creek, had children to play with, the grounds are a simple botanical garden and the place is guarded day and night, so we had total security! The Gallery is superb! We watched the guys in the woodworking shop make some of the "artifacts." We highly recommend this place for the best in the west!

Room Tip: Great place for family stay. If you don't stay, at least eat here and tour the Gallery! Worth...

The value was exceptional. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Staff was friendly and very helpful. It has a perfect location to the activities we were doing, and we will stay there again. The gift shop was totally superb with volumes of unique items. Awesome. Restaurant food was wonderful, big portions and excellent quality. This is not a 5 star hotel, but a 5 star in charm and value. The owner visits with the customers to make sure everything is perfect, and it is!!!

This charming little inn is in a woodsy area just behind Orange gift shop and in front of the owner's house and woodshop (which somehow, we never heard noise from). If you're looking for a resort, look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a nice, reasonably priced place to eat and sleep in between adventures, look no further.

The room was simple, yet it had everything we needed. It was clean, relatively quiet (aside from a dog barking for a couple hours the first night), had A/C, hot water, comfortable enough beds, etc. There's no tv, no clocks, no internet, no pool, etc. It's a bare bones, nature experience. You'll get woken up by sunlight and birds chirping. The bar/restaurant is fantastic. Great food and drinks. We even saw locals come hang out here in the evenings, if that tells you anything.

The staff here were amazing - super friendly and helpful. Stacy spent a ton of time sharing her insights on the area with us. And Julian, the owner, was nice enough to let us keep our room until five on the day we were checking out so we could come back and shower after a cave tour.

My only criticism would be the dog. The location is kind of in the middle of nowhere too, but it's relatively central to most of the attractions in the area.

I'll definitely stay here if I'm in the area again.

I have stayed at this family owned and operated hotel many times over the years and it just gets better! You feel like you reached home at the end of the day. The food is tasty wholesome and healthy. The grounds are well manicured and the creek in the back is a true jungle oasis. You won't regret staying at Caesars Place
