“The food was creative and surprising”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

Loved my mushroom napoleon and my husband loved his dinner too. The homemade coconut cake was to die for. Not what you would expect by the location, but once inside it is very nice and very good.

“The Very Best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

This was probably my favorite restaurant in Highlands, other than Madison's. We ordered a chicken, artichoke wrap one day for lunch-excellent and for dinner one night we split a greens and goat cheese with candied pecan salad and a polenta with fall vegetable ragout and grilled shrimp. Very generous portions even when split. This was unbelievably good-we are from the Gulf coast and rarely take a chance on shrimp away from home, These were large, and perfectly cooked. The restaurant is always busy, so do make reservations if you can. They are in a little strip center back from the road and have both indoor and outdoor seating. Do not miss this place-it is a real find!!!

“Fusion with Flair”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

The menu offered a wide selection of meat and seafood specialties blending the traditional with an Asian twist. My swordfish with ginger, garlic and lime melted in my mouth. Marge chose the Waterfall Beef, described as "A spicy stir fry of beef tenderloin, fresh vegetables, ginger, cilantro and lime. Served with Basmati Rice". Perfect preparation and presentation. Needless to say, the wine selection was extensive and desserts had to be tried.

“Enjoyed lunch here.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

We had a great lunch here with 5 friends. Service was good. I had the Spinach Salad with Crab Cakes. Generous portion. My husband had the "special" sandwich. Fun atmosphere for lunch.

“Not so wild but Great Thyme”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

Really nice restaurant in Highlands NC. We had lunch for 6 and sat outside on a lovely fall day. Food and service was very good. Everyone enjoy their lunch. The Mahi Mahi sandwich was very good as was all of our lunches. A great stop if your nearby.
