“You'll never go wrong here.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012 via mobile

We make a point of eating dinner at Madison's every time we come to Highlands. The food is creatively entertaining and delicious. The service is truly the best anywhere. We have never had a mediocre meal here and always look forward to the surprises on the menu. I enjoyed the breakfast for dinner appetizer - my first time having pork belly and I loved it!! I also had the beef duo with beef tenderloin and braised shortrib ravioli. Amazing! The staff at Madison's (and the Inn) make every effort to make you feel special. We love this place!!

“Had lunch on the Patio in November”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

Even though they had closed and winterized the patio, the weather was so nice, that many wanted to eat outside before it really got cold, so they were kind enough to reopen for a while. Had the most delicious lunch. They have unusual and delicious soups, great small pizzas, fantastic burgers and wonderful fish and chips. the smoked salmon salad sandwich was really delicious.

“Great experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

You can not beat a trip to Highlands, NC for a 5 star get-away in a small, quaint town rich in history. When there, you must eat at Madison's restaurant for a spectacular experience. From the decor, to the food, to the staff, we are never disappointed. Last week we had a superb and decadent dinner there. Our server, Patrick, took great care to make our romantic night very special. The food was over the top and so flavorful without being too rich. I had the pheasant and my husband had the duo of beef- perfect dishes for the cool season. They have a expansive wine list to boot and with lots of variety to choose from. If you don't want a big meal, they also have simpler fare including an outstanding burger!

“Fabulous Food and Interior”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

The food was good and the interior was warm and inviting. Excellent service. It was Thanksgiving weekend and they were quite busy. We waited for our table in a cute room with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and a roaring fire.
