Description: The Ugly Dog Pub is a casual pub with beer, wine and mixed drinks. Our food is very good and affordable. A great place to come meet friends or make friends. We have live music on Wednesdays and Saturdays, sports on TV and Special events to keep it fun. We are a relaxed place, so come in, seat yourself, or come up to the bar and order a drink and something to eat.

“Fun little Pub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

I recently ate dinner here with friends. We had an appetizer sampler with the pimiento cheese, hummus, and spinach & artichoke dip. All were really good. You can't go wrong with the vege pizza...loaded with veges and prepared on naan bread. It was surprisingly good. Others had the wings, a burger, and salads. Everyone was happy with their dinner choices. Service was good even when it got really crowded. Good beer selection, and cute t-shirts. Laid back atmosphere. Good place to go for a casual dinner and a cold beer.

The best addition to Highlands in years. Great people, great atmosphere and always a fun time. Casual but good pub grub. Love it!

Very nice surprise downtown with great service, drinks and food. We ate dinner there both nights and really enjoyed the sandwiches and dont miss their Blue-Cheese-Coleslaw!

“Drinks.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

A friend of mine and I decided to go here for Drinks, I don't remember the bartender, but he was somewhat rude. My friend like Lemon Drop Martini's and this one was quite tart, so she asked to remake it, he wasn't too happy. My Drink didn't taste to good either, so she asked what he used to make it. It was low end stuff that didn't taste good. We left out drinks, and left. I haven't been back.
