“Large part of a great short vacation”

Myself and others got the Gardener's Cottage for a 3-night stay in Hendersonville while we visited the Elijah Mountain Gem Mine. I'm not one to use a lot of gentle words but I believe the correct terms for this cottage are "quaint" and "charming". The owner, Sandra, and the other lady I dealt with, Kletia, both went above-and-beyond to be friendly and provide a comfortable stay. The cottage sort-of reminded me of my grandparents' old house in Tennessee. It had hardwood floors throughout, a very spacious living room, a nice kitchen area, a dining room, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. It even came with a linen closet that didn't latch. lol That's just the kind of thing you'd find in some of my family's old houses. Seriously, it was clean, comfortable, had nice knick-knacks to decorate the place, a nice TV, well, you can read about it on the Cranmore Cottages website. One more serious plus for the Cranmore Cottages group, the family also owns Elijah Mountain Gem Mine. It was my first experience with sifting for gems and a very good one. It was even better when I factored in the fact we saved, literally, $100 on dirt over 2 days (actually spent $180 for 2 ruby/emerald tubs and 4 other buckets) through the discounts the family offers for staying at a Cranmore Cottage. One of my loved ones is going to get a pair of ruby earrings and a ruby necklace out of the trip. No, not huge but a respectable little set of good quality for a memory and an occasional evening out.
