“Magical trip back in time....We'll be back sooner than you think!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2011

The quaint cabins are perfect for letting your hair down and being a kid again. They boast kitchenettes that make traveling with kids a breeze not to mention the beautiful Oceola lake that draws children and adults alike. The canoes and kayaaks available to the guests gives the kids tons to do to keep them busy while the adults can rock in a hammock, sit in the hot tub or just lounge on a chair and read while enjoying the serenity this magical lake has to offer. My son was in the canoe for hours fishing for bass.

I've stayed here a few times - I keep coming back because I LOVE this place! The upgraded 1950's style rentals include kitchenettes and small but charming porches, most of which have a view of the beautiful lake. The owners provide kayaks, a canoe and various floats and rafts for renters to use on the lake, and if you don't mind a bit of seaweed, the lake offers a refreshing place to swim on a hot day.. It's a great place to stay if you want to explore the area - there is lots to do nearby and lots more in the region. Plus the owners are friendly and they have great kids. I recommend this place!

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Your gracious hosts, AJ and Todd Leoni, look forward to sharing their own personal haven with you. This is a place where you can come to relax and find peace in today’s hectic world. The main house serves as the private residence of the Leoni family. The estate goes on to boast a lovely gathering of eleven one-bedroom cottages, circa 1920. Our pleasing cottages look out on beautiful Lake Osceola. The lake presents 1.6 miles of shoreline to explore. We encourage guests to use our canoe and paddleboat to enjoy the water. Fishing is permitted with a license. If boating and fishing aren’t your desire, rise early in the morning and let the mist on the lake take your breath away, or find an unfrequented place to sit, read and enjoy the quiet. Being only minutes from Main Street in Hendersonville you will be able to take advantage of all this charming town has to offer. Enjoy browsing our boutiques, antiquing or spend an evening on Main being entertained by live music at one of the many street dances. There are a wide variety of chef-owned restaurants to choose from for your dining pleasure. Day excursions to Brevard’s many waterfall trails and Asheville’s eclectic interests are a must.
