My wife and I came down to Hendersonville for a four day weekend to convince my in-laws that we should retire together in this fine mountain town. We had previously stayed at another inn, but it was booked this weekend. My wife found this inn on line and booked it for her parents and us.
Getting to the inn was a little tricky as the town had blocked all of the neighborhood streets off in the middle of the block to cut down on traffic. Initially this seemed to be a hassle, but turned into a blessing as the QUIET weekend progressed.
Mitch and Sue are unassuming inn keepers. They are always quietly looking out for their guests without being obtrusive.
The bed and breakfast is beautiful. Mitch and Sue have been working on remodeling the rooms. Each room has been beautifully decorated The rooms are very clean and each has a theme of its own.
Breakfast all 3 days of our stay was great. While there was no juice or choice of breakfast entree, the four course offerings were delicious. During our first breakfast they heard us talking about our current vegan diet, they bent over backwards to modify our meals while keeping them very similar to the other guests.
The inn has a pod type coffee maker at the ready with a variety of coffees, cocoa, and ciders. Fresh apples, packaged snacks and a fridge full of soft drinks were available 24/7.
I would highly recommend.
