“P&H Scotland - Another wonderful visit to Perrakis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2014

This is our second visit to Perrakis. On this occasion we had a most wonderful relaxing 7 day holiday.
The hotel is only 2 hours in the ferry from Rafina and Rafina is a short bus/taxi journey from the airport. All rooms face the sea and we had a superior room with a balcony on the second floor.. Linen and towels were changed every day. You can enjoy the lovely beach just outside the hotel or lounge on a sunbed by the swimming pool. There is also refreshments available at the pool or down at the beach. As we did not intend going anywhere for the duration of our stay we were on a half board basis. The food at both breakfast and evening meal was very good and there was plenty of choice. The lounge areas in the hotel (inside and out) are very comfortable. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff are most helpful and courteous.. We will certainly be back. A scubadiving centre is also based at this hotel.

Room Tip: Choose a superior room on the second floor with larger balcony

Staying in hotel Perrakis you have the opportunity to enjoy swimming in the swimming pool or in the fantastic beach. The beach is just in front of the hotel. A beach bar provides you with refreshments, snack e.t.c. The hotel is located in Kypri and all rooms have view in the beach.
It’s very clean and cosy hotel.
The staff is very polite and ready to give you any additional information and help.
Cyclades restaurant have a well cook dishes in logical prices.
I defiantly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Perrakis is a very nice hotel with a beautiful pool, nice beach few steps away. All the rooms have a balcony with view on the sea, the restaurants and the lounge also have amazing views on the sea. The bathrooms are a bit small but well it's a three stars and you don't need to spend hours in it. The room is nice well decorated, with everything you might need. The breakfast is really complete with fruits, toasts, jam, ham, eggs, juice... We had half board so we also had the chance to enjoy the food of the restaurant which was really good. Unfortunately the weather was not good and we could not enjoy all the amenities but I am sure that our stay would have been perfect if we had had sun. The only bad thing is that at the restaurant they only gave us mineral water without offering us tap water so we had to pay 1.50€ for each dinner, it's not a big deal but I would have appreciate it if they had offered both.

We stayed in this hotel regarding all the nicely comments that we found. We booked a superior room with a beautiful view on the Kripi bay and the hotel's swimming pool. Unfortunately, we were surprise by a lot things : the little and old bathroom, rooms not soundproof, the swimming pool was not cleanned everyday, the bar was not open and the beach was not ready yet...the season beging on April...
In other and, there is a good cooker and a very nice waiter, Dimitri that did everthing to make us feel good. Also, the rooms are very clean and the weather very nice.
So to resume, this a good 3stars with one of the best view of the island close to beautiful beaches but we recommanded on full season to have all activities and all services. Rent a car.

Room Tip: superior room

I am sorry you were disappointed. The beach was not open because we still do not have our licence due to the European elections. The pool is cleaned every day and I personal make sure that the water is of highest quality. I find this unfair. All departments do not open until end of May, that is why you pay considerably less than in high season where the superior room is at 140 euros per day. The hotel's bath rooms are probably smaller that what you are used to because we are a 3 star hotel having the price is of a 3 star hotel and because Kypri is a traditional settlement with very strict rules. All this misunderstanding could of be cleared up I you had some time to talk to me, I am at the hotel all day, thus dealing this any minor disappointment.

Andros is just 2 hours away Rafina port. And 10 minutes after you arrive at the port , you can check in this lovely hotel. The best thing is that you get as part of the stay a perfect pool and few meters away 2 amazing relaxing beaches .. Perfect for short breaks from Athens Batsi is in near driving distance, where you can find great taverns and bars . But even , if you just don't want to move , you can enjoy dinner in Perrakis ' great restaurant with many options in reasonable prices , in a blacony facing the sea. In fact every room is facing te sea , so the view is perfect , escecially if you book a room with a large balcony! Although the hotel is on the main island road , it isn;t noisy ..So relaxing comes easy in this small jem in Andros.

Room Tip: ask for room with big balcony

What a gem - beautiful location adjacent to the beach. The decor is so tasteful and obviously recently refurbished. It is a home from home - lots of thoughtful touches include an ipod dock, an outside drying rack with pegs and really special toiletries. Rooms are spacious with lovely outside balcony overlooking paradise! The proprietors are really friendly and thoughtful - this included a lift into the nearby village, transfer to my ferry and a delightful salad, even though the restaurant is not yet open. I highly recommend this glorious spot on a less touristy Greek Island - especially if you are looking to chill out. A car would be needed to explore more of this stunning, unspoilt island.
