“5 star accomodation, 3 star prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2011

elegant, romantic, incredible staff, genuine hospitality, gourme kitchen. The view from the rooms is breathtaking, the wooden terrace is unbeleivable. We went for a weekend and it felt like I was in one month vacation!
The prices are more than logical and the beach of the hotel is the best of the whole west side, comfortable sun-beds, cozy beach bar, wooden platforms and elegant vacation feeling.
next time I will go scuba, everybody else did!

I loved my stay at this hotel. The staff was wonderfully accommodating. The view was beautiful and the rooms were comfortable. It felt like home right away. I came in the off season so was a little disappointed in the activities/restaurants nearby but it's perfect for a lovely, relaxing holiday.

Breakfast was average but service was good, and employees were very friendly... Room price was a little bit high... but if you proceed to an early book you would get a fair discount... Great sea view with a large balcony... Big swimming pool (kids will love it... not recommended for couples...) Marvelous restaurant with a unique sea view & moonlight... Beach was very close... less than 5 minutes... umbrellas & sun beds was very comfortable and free of charge...

Hotel Perrakis one of the better choices for Andros. Unlike many other Cycladic Islands Andros doesn't not get as much tourism as some of it neighbors. This of course is a good thing, but also means that the number of good hotels is limited. And quite honesty there are no really great hotels.

Location wise HP is positioned between Batsi and Gavrio which is ideal and on top of two great beaches Saint Peter and Golden Beach. Its also has access to a beach just across the street which is also nice., especially if you want to avoid the somewhat loud beach bars at the other beaches. This beach is however non catered with only a few sun lounge chairs.

The hotel has been recently renovated and is very comfortable, Rooms are reasonably nice and of medium size (avoid ground floor - rooms poorly renovated and views are somewhat obstructed). All have aircon and a small useless TV. The restaurant, bar, terrace areas are also well kept. The views and position of the hotel are excellent. The real problem with this hotel is that it lacks the wow factor. This is not the hotel you dreamed about for your honeymoon, nor will you be snapping photos of the building to show your friends. The architecture and decor are uninspiring.

Restaurant service is great and the cleaning staff are fantastic. The breakfast is free but not very good. The lunch and dinner are of a much higher standard and actually involve a chef. Some of the veggie dishes are outstanding,

The reception staff are mediocre with the exception of Sophia who really made our stay very pleasant.

The pool and pool area is not bad but does not have enough shaded area and the stone floors can get very hot in midday sun.

We have never written a hotel review before but we were so impressed with our stay that we just had to write one. Everything for us was perfect. The family, hotel staff, food, location, and room were excellent. If you want a peaceful holiday close to the beach with good views this is it. We plan to return later this year if possible.

this is a small family run hotel. Very good service and very friendly staff. The hotel restaurant offers very good quality meals. The beach is located very close to the hotel (you just have to cross a street) and it is sandy with clear blue waters.
I would certainly recommend it to families!

Small family-run hotel a few kilometers outside Gavrion. Offered us an excellent half-board package with a very spacious room (all recently refurbished): after excursions on the island thru the day, we were happy not to go out to eat in the evening where we enjoyed a very good dinner in the hotel. The hotel is just above the coastal road which was not noisy in May. A beautiful beach is just 200meters away
