We went on a Thursday evening and had an amazing dinner. We both had trout and it was heavenly! We got lots of "sides" and they were fabulous...especially the broccoli, applesauce, and roasted cauliflower. We loved it so much we went back on the following Sunday evening. The trout was mushy and mediocre, the fried chicken, however, was amazing. The sides came much later than the entrees, the server said there was some issue in the kitçhen and there sure must have been as the sides were cold, tasteless, nowhere near as good as on the previous visit.
It is obvious this restaurant is a favorite of locals so I'm guessing it is usually pretty good. The decor is so tired I found myself mentally redecorating it while eating!
