We visited on a whim a few weeks ago after craving BBQ. Fair warning: I'm a Texan and that's the only way to do BBQ. Anyway, we were told that this place had good brisket so we had to try it.
We split a four meat plate with the beef sausage (delicious and spicy), smoked turkey (wonderful and made great sandwiches with leftovers), beer can chicken (moist and tasty), and the brisket.
I'm highly judgemental and a big-time Texas bbq snob (aren't we all?) but this is probably some of the best brisket I've had outside of my home state. The color was right with the dark crust, pink line, and brown center, and it tasted smoky, just like it should. My only complaint was that it was dry. This could be due to the fact that we were there at an off time (around 2PM) and it might have been sitting for a while.
The sides were good. We had the chili and even though it had beans, it was tasty and was actually spicy. The homemade mac & cheese was awesome, too. We also had the red beans & rice and that was delicious as well.
We will definitely be going back. This is a great place for watching sports and I can't wait for March Madness to come get some bbq and watch basketball!
