“Great Customer Service and responsiveness”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 days ago NEW

The Comfort Inn in Fayetteville is my favorite hotel in the area. I have stayed there several times over the past 3 years and the service has always been excellent. When I visited in July I had a last minute request to come a day early. They took the time to ensure I could get in my room a day early so I did not have to move rooms once I arrived. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. I make a trip to Fayetteville once or twice a year and will continue to stay at the Comfort Inn.

We checked into this hotel, and immediately smelled a very strong moldy/humid scent...which got worse on the second floor where our room was located. Once in the room, could hardly breathe - even turning the air conditioning on for an hour didn't cure the problem. Thankfully, the lovely desk manager allowed us to cancel our reservation and found us a clean, well priced room across the street at the Doubletree Hilton which was excellent. The Comfort Inn, while renovated and a lovely environment, may have issues when it's raining, hot and humid. Be forewarned...

Room Tip: Be careful when you book - I would not recommend in hot humid seasons.

Nikki and Joan went out of their way to make us feel welcome; just as last year and we have a reservation to return October 30th. If you ever have a need to visit Fort Bragg or Methodist University this is the place to stay....

Room Tip: They are all good....

This place is always clean and accommodating. It is an ideal location, just off the I95 and about 8 hrs away from our departing city of Daytona Beach Florida. There's always someone at the front desk no matter what time of day we arrive.

This hotel is located conveniently off Interstate 95 in a quiet area dominated by hotels and a Cracker Barrel. We stayed the night on our way to VA from SC. Upon entering the building, it was evident that the hotel had been recently updated and the lobby area smelled fresh and clean. When we arrived in our room on the second floor we were shocked by a strong, stale smell (maybe from the a/c unit?) We requested a change of rooms and were immediately obliged. The front desk clerk upgraded us to a suite, which smelled far better than our original room. We also appreciated that we received a phone call moments after entering the room asking if everything was to our liking. The room was clean and spacious with the sink situated outside the toilet and shower, making for a quicker more efficient morning routine for the two of us. One of my pet peeves, and what I consider a mark of a cheap hotel is when only two bath towels are provided. If you need more than two, make sure you ask for extras at the front desk during check in. Our room had only two small, thin bath towels. Aside from this, our stay was pleasant, the bed was comfortable, and most importantly our room was spotless. We partook in the continental breakfast the morning of our departure. The meal was adequate, though no grand buffet. If you are looking for a feast, eat at the Cracker Barrel next store. This is a clean, pleasant place to stay if you are on the road and need a place to stop for the night.

One night stay during a business trip, located near I-95 exit east to get to, Cracker Barrel right next door. As others have reported, older, musty on the inside, but appeared to be clean. Front desk clerk not real enthusiastic during check in. Lobby area and hallways were very warm, with poor ventilation. Room was clean, however seemed to have a "funny" smell, that was not helped by the fact that the AC unit fan did not seem to change speeds or temp. Quiet during the night, bed slept well, However it took about 25 minuets for the water to heat up for my morning shower. Glad I got up early ! Hot breakfast buffet with someone keeping the food replenished. Not bad for the money

You get what you pay for at $95 ... It was a very average hotel. I won't be adding this one to my future pit stop locations. Old, kind of dirty and second floor smelled like cigarette smoke. To be honest all of Fayetteville hotels off 95 were pretty worn down. Best part is it's next to Cracker Barrel
