I stayed here based on the reviews of this property. The hotel is tucked away from the main road, and right next door to cracker barrel. This doesnt look like most Red Roofs and i suspect it didnt start its life off as one. Guy at check in was friendly, and he noted the hotel is undergoing renovations and will become a Comfort Inn. The lobby is very swanky with a chandelier and new wallpaper and etc... All the rooms arent renovated, just the lobby and etc. My room smelled like someone just steam cleaned the carpets and didnt let it air out. It wasnt bad, but wasnt good. I had a nice loveseat with table in one corner and a big desk near the TV. Bathroom was kind of awkward but fairly large. The soap and shampoos are in wall dispensers like at a gym, which is kinda neat and very "green". The light over the sink was annoying as it buzzed. The light in the bathroom took 5 seconds to even turn on. PLENTY of TV channels, most ive seen at any hotel. WiFi was a pain to connect to. First WAP I connected to wouldnt get me to the login page, 2nd one finally did but the speed was FAST. I clocked it at 6mbps down when i first got on it. Shower water pressure was awful. It kept going in and out and never stayed strong. Water was nice and hot though. No exhaust fan in the shower either. My pillows were very lumpy, all 3 of them. They were just crappy pillows. The bed was fine though! I didnt check out the pool or exercise room or the morning breakfast, as it ended at 9. Overall, id stay here again if i got a cheap rate, but id rather spend a few more $$ at the DoubleTree next door.
