The park has modern style artwork but it is impressive. The hands of different veterans made you think of all who have served. All counties of NC were represented and each branch of the service. There is a small museum there also and they show a short film. The have restrooms also. On the other side of the parking lot is the Special Operations Museum so you can do both in a day.(Location Address is 300 Bragg Blvd.)

Cumulus Media presented The Taste of Fayetteville on October 12th in Festival Park featuring many local restaurants, a kids play area, live music and cold beer. The food was awesome and we had a great time... hope to enjoy it again next year!

We had a nice time walking through this area looking at all the pieces of art. It gives you a very nice patriotic feel. It is a memorial for NC veterans only. The more awe struck displays were inside for me. Check out the table and the meaning behind everything on it. Seeing all the dog tags that represent the veterans and the beautiful art piece of dog tags hanging from the ceiling. Something like 34000 dog tags!!! It's just a small area to walk through. It won't take up much time and there in no admission charge. If you have the time be sure to check it out.
