“Pleasant Stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2007

Standard motel room with a small bathroom area. Room was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Good TV reception and wireless internet worked well.

Breakfast was more limited than described in earlier reviews. Offerings included make your own waffles, biscuits with gravy, fruit salad, cereals, assorted breads and pastries.

I stayed here one night in June. The hotel is located immediately off 95 so its very convenient for long distance travelers. Its probably not the most convenient if your planning on touring Fayetteville though. Upon arrival I noticed the grounds to be fairly clean. The lobby was nice but nothing special and the service at the front desk was was friendly. Our room was on the bottom floor right next to the pool. The room was your standard comfort inn hotel room. That night we used the pool which was small but seemed to be clean and well cared for. I also checked out the fitness room which was the only disappointment during our stay. Most of the equipment was broken and not in usable condition. The following morning we went to breakfast which was the best part of the stay. Breakfast consisted of a full sothern style breakfast, including ham and eggs, waffles, home fries, grits, cereals, fruits, juice, donuts and muffins. Check out was quick and we were back on our way in no time. I would definately recommend this hotel for those traveling up 95 that need a place to rest for the night.

Fayetteville, NC, is pretty much the halfway point between NYC and Florida, so we decided to stop here for the night during our travels. Our choices were somewhat limited, since we were traveling with our Dachshund, and "Pet Friendly" hotels are few and far between. This property is one of the few in the area that will accept pets, so we decided to give it a try. No problems whatsoever for our one night stay, which also included a pretty good free breakfast and even a free car wash !! The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and I saw no evidence of other animals having been in the room. Plenty of restaurants available close by, including McDonalds & Ruby Tuesday; in the morning you can jump right back on I-95, which is about 1/4 mile away. We would not hesitate to stay at this property again.

We are members of Choice Hotels and usually stay at Comfort Inn and book ahead when we are on the road. We are generally satisfied. This stay was a disappointment. The people at the desk were unfriendly and unhelpful. The room smelled and we had to air it out. The bathroom was dirty. Had we not been on the road all day we would have checked out and gone elsewhere. We complained to Choice and to the motel and received NO satisfaction.

I stayed here for two nights around the holidays and found it to be a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located close to interstate 95. There are many restaurants in the area. The staff was helpful and polite. The free breakfast buffet included scrambled eggs, hash browns, grits, waffles, and other continental breakfast items. I'd certainly stay there again
