“Great Hummus”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

My favorite spot for hummus. I get it by the pint -- super smooth and slightly smoky. Place a lot for take out lunches or dinner. Very easy to phone in an order and pick it up to go.

“Excellent food, wide variety, resonable prices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

With children/grandchildren in Durham I have eaten here several times, most recently 3 weeks ago. While the atmosphere is not particularly attractive – the bottom floor of a high rise building complex – it is very clean and functional. The food is superb and very reasonably priced. The Mediterranean cuisine is varied and as good as any I have had. My local family likes the restaurant (son-in law is a vegetarian) as the menu is quite varied with food perfect for him as well as for the meat eaters. I will go here again and recommend it as a place for all who enjoy such food. I rate the food a 5, but the atmosphere a 3 – thus a 4 overall. As the cereal commercial says– “Try it, you’ll like it”!

“Great shawarma!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

The chicken shawarma here is absolutely fantastic. Try the battata harra- it's delicious, too.

Friendly service, reasonable prices, clean dining room. Give this place a try!

“Great lunch buffet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

Excellent fresh middle eastern food buffet. Vegetarian and meat entrees, reasonably priced. The operators were not particularly affable, but I didn't go there to make friends. Will recommend to others, and return myself.

“great food, great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2012

We love Baba's for their fresh and delicious food and friendly service. Gina often waits on us and always remembers the whole family, even when we don't come in together. I love the chicken curry, a huge platter with two sides. Get extra meat and have enough for two people.
